Care Plus Deet Spray 40% is a powerful insect repellent designed for travelers going to tropical destinations. It offers long-lasting protection against mosquitoes (including malaria, dengue, Zika carriers) and ticks. Ideal for use in high-risk areas. Contains Bitrex® to reduce accidental ingestion. Unscented and colorless formula. We recommend covering as much of your skin as possible with clothing. It is best to wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. For optimal protection against bites and stings, we recommend applying Care Plus® Insect Repellent with DEET (Natural or Sensitive) to all exposed skin. Distribute evenly with the palm of your hand. To protect the face, apply a small amount with your fingers. Always keep the palms of your hands clean of DEET products when eating and drinking. For children, do not apply insect repellent to body parts, such as hands and arms, that can easily come into contact with the eyes or mouth. For daytime use, apply the product to the skin 10 minutes before exposure to direct sunlight. In combination with sunscreen, apply sunscreen 30 minutes and insect repellent 10 minutes before exposure to the sun (20 minutes after sunscreen). Wash protected skin areas thoroughly with soap when you no longer need protection or experience side effects.
