Frequently Asked Questions Will a 97 cm gun bag fit my rifle? Compatibility depends on the actual overall length of your firearm, optics, muzzle device, and other attachments. Measure your rifle from the longest point and compare the result with the internal dimensions of the bag before purchasing. Why is the nominal length 97 cm but the external length about 99 cm? 97 cm corresponds to the manufacturer’s nominal size of 38 inches. The external length of approximately 99 cm includes the walls, padding, and construction of the bag. How many firearms does the bag hold? The manufacturer specifies this as a single firearm bag. Placing two firearms may reduce protection and risk damaging the guns or optics. Does the bag fit a rifle with optics? The external width of about 33 cm and depth of 11 cm allow for many scoped configurations, but compatibility must be checked based on the specific height and accessories of your firearm. Is the gun bag waterproof? The manufacturer describes the material as weather-resistant, but a soft bag should not be considered fully waterproof. Seams and zippers may let in moisture during heavy rain. Does a lockable bag replace a gun safe? No. A lockable soft gun bag is designed to improve transport security and does not replace a gun storage facility or gun safe that meets legal requirements. Do magazines fit in the front pocket? Yes. The large front pocket has elastic loops designed for, among others, AR15, AR10, and AK47 magazines. Can the bag be used for long-term firearm storage? A soft bag is not ideal for long-term storage, especially if the firearm or bag is damp. After transport, dry and maintain the gun and store it in an appropriate storage location. When is the Allen Tac-Six Squad 97 cm the right choice? This gun bag is suitable for a compact rifle whose overall length allows it to be closed in the padded main compartment without forcing. The tactical front pockets are practical for shooters who carry magazines, cleaning tools, and personal protective equipment. For longer hunting rifles, long barrels, or rifles with fixed stocks, choose a 117–140 cm gun bag. If your firearm requires air or heavy impact protection during transport, a hard and lockable gun case is a safer alternative. Recommendations We recommend measuring your firearm with all permanently installed accessories before purchase. Consider the dimensions of the optics, muzzle brake, suppressor, pistol grip, and extended or fixed stock. The firearm should fit in the bag without the zipper pressing against the optic or muzzle device. For transport, always unload the firearm completely and store ammunition separately according to current regulations. Attach magazines and other hard accessories to the loops in the front pocket so they do not move against the firearm. After rain or wet conditions, remove the gun from the bag and dry both the firearm and the interior of the bag. A lockable zipper improves transport security but does not turn a soft bag into a gun safe. Organized transport for a compact rifle The Allen Tac-Six Squad 97 cm combines a padded main compartment for one firearm, a reinforced accessory pocket, MOLLE panel, and magazine loops. It is a versatile tactical gun bag for organizing shooting range and training gear.
