Frequently Asked Questions Is the CHPA 57GL suitable for the Glock 19 pistol? Yes. The Glock 19 is included in the manufacturer’s 57GL compatibility list. The holster should be tested with the intended flashlight or laser. Does the holster fit the SIG Sauer P365 X-Macro pistol? Yes. The SIG Sauer P365 X-Macro is listed by the manufacturer as compatible. However, the firearm configuration and accessory dimensions may affect fit. Is the CHPA 57GL suitable for the Canik Mete MC9 pistol? Yes. The Canik Mete MC9 is included in the manufacturer’s published compatibility list. Does the holster fit all 9 mm, .40, and .45 pistols? No. Caliber alone does not determine holster fit. The frame, slide, trigger guard, and dimensions of any mounted flashlight or laser must be considered. Is the holster optics ready? Yes. The manufacturer describes the model as optics ready. However, you should check the clearance for your specific optic. What is the purpose of the adjustable strap? The strap helps adapt the holster for weapon lights and lasers of different sizes. It does not automatically guarantee compatibility with every accessory. Does the metal clip require a belt for carrying? The metal clip attaches to the waistband or a belt. A sturdy belt helps keep a heavier firearm combination more stable against the body. When is the Houston CHPA 57GL the right choice? The CHPA 57GL is suitable for right-handed users carrying a 9 mm, .40, or .45 caliber pistol from the manufacturer's compatibility list with a flashlight or laser. It is a flexible solution when a soft holster adjustable for accessory size is more important than a rigid, model-specific fit. The CHPA 58AL is more suitable for models in the manufacturer's smaller compatibility group, such as Glock 42, Glock 43, SIG P365, or P938. The CHPA 57GL is designed for larger sample models like the Glock 19, P365 XL, and Hellcat Pro. Expert recommendation Check the holster fit with an unloaded firearm, keeping the flashlight, laser, and optic on the weapon in the configuration in which they will be carried. The trigger guard must be fully covered, and the firearm must not fall out of the holster during movement. Adjust the strap only as tight as needed to keep the firearm secure. Excessive tightening may make drawing the firearm uneven. Regularly check the metal clip, strap, lining, and stitching, and repeat the fit test after every accessory change. IWB holster equipped for compact and subcompact pistols The Houston CHPA 57GL combines right-handed IWB carry, eco-leather material, a metal clip, adjustable accessory fit, and optics ready construction. It is compatible with multiple listed pistols from the manufacturer, with a flashlight or laser attached.
