The Allen Durango 137 cm is a long soft gun case for transporting a smoothbore hunting shotgun or sporting firearm. Suitable for use For transporting a long smoothbore shotgun For over-and-under or side-by-side shotguns For sporting and trap guns For hunting and trips to the shooting range For longer firearms for which a 132 cm case is too short For users who prefer a simple gun case without large external pockets Why choose the Allen Durango 137 cm? Nominal length 137 cm or 54" Suitable for shotguns longer than usual Dense foam padding Durable Endura outer fabric Easy-to-clean non-absorbent lining Wide carrying handles Hanging loop Lockable zipper Lightweight and simple construction Black universal color Technical specifications Manufacturer: Allen Company Model: Durango Shotgun Product type: soft shotgun case Capacity: one firearm Nominal length: 137 cm / 54" Material: polyester / Endura fabric Padding: dense foam padding Inner lining: non-absorbent and easy to clean Carrying handles: yes Hanging loop: yes Zipper: lockable Color: black Included Allen Durango 137 cm shotgun case Frequently Asked Questions Will a 137 cm long gun fit in the case? 137 cm is the nominal length of the model. The firearm should be shorter than this, so the padding and zipper are not under tension. Is the case suitable for a sporting shotgun with 81 cm barrels? Suitability depends on the total length of the firearm, not just the barrel length. The assembled firearm should be measured. Does the case have a shoulder strap? The manufacturer lists carrying handles and a hanging loop, but not a separate adjustable shoulder strap. Is the case waterproof? Endura fabric is suitable for regular outdoor use, but the case is not described as fully waterproof. Can the zipper be locked? Yes, the manufacturer describes the Durango zipper system as lockable. A suitable small lock must be purchased separately. When is the Allen Durango 137 cm the right choice? The Durango 137 cm is suitable for a long shotgun when a standard 132 cm case is too short. The simple design is ideal for users who carry cartridges and other accessories in a separate bag. If you want multiple external pockets and a shoulder strap, choose the Allen Daytona. If you prefer a more traditional cotton outer fabric and leather details, the North Platte Heritage is suitable. Recommendations We recommend leaving a small gap between the firearm and the internal length of the case. In an oversized case, the firearm may move inside; in a case that is too small, the zipper will be under tension. Also check the height of the rib and possible muzzle devices. After a day of hunting or at the range, remove the firearm from the case even if the case appears dry on the outside. Clean the firearm and let the case dry open. This helps prevent moisture from remaining between the metal and the lining. A long and simple case for a shotgun The Allen Durango 137 cm is a practical solution for a longer-than-average hunting or sporting shotgun. The durable fabric, dense padding, and lockable zipper provide all the essential features needed for everyday transport.
